Music at Grace

Music at Grace has been led since 2011 by our Minister of Music, Sheridan Seyfried, along with the Grace Choir, an adult choir that leads the congregation in song and offers an anthem each Sunday during the program year (September through June). Sheridan is a composer by training, and frequently arranges or composes music both for the choir and for himself to perform on piano, violin, or organ.

Grace Lutheran is a diverse congregation, and music at Grace reflects this, ranging from Bach to contemporary arrangements to Gospel music. While musically wide-ranging, Grace's worship service honors the traditional Lutheran liturgy and hymnody, and includes the celebration of communion every Sunday. Grace has a two-manual Moller pipe organ, perfectly suited to the lovely acoustic of its small sanctuary.
